  HP Hood, one of the largest branded dairy operators in the U.S. for over 170 years is seeking a Production Worker Temp to join our Production Department in it's Concord, NH operation

  
  Shift: 1:30PM- 10PM with Sunday and Wednesday off

  • POSITION SUMMARY:

    The primary responsibility of this position is to safely and efficiently bag and unbag plastic blow mold packages to be used on the fill lines in production.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    • Safely and efficiently operate the debagger machine that feeds bottles to production filler lines.
    • Operate the bagger machine.
    • Load and unload dollies full of bottles.
    • Transport bagged bottles to dry storage area and back to debagger.
    • Keep the flow of packages moving to prevent shut down of machines in both blow mold and the filling lines in production
    • Understand and follow all company safety policies and procedures.
    • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
    • Perform assigned duties following “Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).”
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    
    EDUCATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

    • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent preferred.
    • Must be 18 years or older.
    • Prior manufacturing experience preferred.
    • Able to read, write, do basic math, and operate simple machinery.
    • Ability to multi-task and work as a team.

    
    PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

    • Work requiring continuous moderate effort in physically packing and unpacking bottles and lifting rolls of polybags and separators. Constant mental and visual attention must be performed at all times to maintain required standards of operations and eliminate waste.

      While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand and walk. The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and use taste or smell.

      The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
